Thank you to all
On behalf of myself and our Slate I truly want to thank everyone who braved rain, wind, and all around nasty weather to come out and show your support for our Unity slate! Over 150 friends, old and new and many more who sent messages of support are overwhelmingly in favor of our mix of experience and fresh faces united to give Township residents excellant services in the most fiscally responsible way-less than 2 cents of your tax dollar!
Special thanks to our guest speakers; Illinois GOP Chairman & Cook County Commissioner Timothy Schneider for his unwavering support and belief in local candidates and Committeeman Char Fosse-Eggeman for her support and her very complimentary introduction of our Slate! And a really special shout out to Doriene who volunteered her time unstintingly to manage unending lists and check everyone in with a line stretching to the door! Also a big thank you to all the elected officials current and retired and other local and County candidates who stopped in to show their support!
Also please do not hesitate to contact us if you are in need of a yard sign!

Maine Township Republican Unity Slates Puts Campaign in Full Swing
Campaigns for Maine Township offices are in full swing as the Republican Unity Slate announces its first fundraiser, launches a Facebook page, and opens its website. The elections are on April 4, 2017.
Supervisor Candidate Laura Morask stated, “We are really excited to introduce our Republican Unity Slate to residents as we have such a great mix of experience and fresh faces who are united in the goal of fiscal responsibility to our Township and providing the award winning services for just pennies on your tax dollar.”
“We invite everyone to our kick-off fundraiser for a night of unity, great food and guest speakers,” she adds. “I also invite our residents to meet the candidates and join our team on our website at www.MaineTownshipRepublicans.com or ‘Like’ our Facebook page to stay updated.”
Members of the slate will also participate in the Candidates’ Forum co-sponsored by the Republican Women of Park Ridge and the Maine Township Republicans Women’s’ Club on Thursday, February 16 at Prospect Park in Park Ridge.

A week later all are invited to their President’s Day Fundraiser at Countryside Saloon on Ballard Road in Des Plaines on February 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets information is available on the website.
“Our fundraiser promises to be a fun filled festive tribute to our Founding Fathers whose principles of government of the people, by the people and for the people, we pledge to carry on,” Morask says.
The Republican Unity Slate consists of Laura Morask for Supervisor, Peter Gialamas for Clerk, Walter Kazmierczak for Highway Commissioner, Susan Moylan Krey for Assessor, Kimberly Jones for Trustee, Kelly Schaefer for Trustee, David Carrabotta for Trustee, and Susan Sweeney for Trustee. Morask, Kazmierczak and Krey are running unopposed.
The Maine Township Republican Unity Slate offers voters in the upcoming Consolidated Election a strong group comprised of experienced Township board members and fresh faces capable of providing excellent service to the Maine Township community in a fiscally responsible manner, says Char Foss-Eggemann, Republican Committeeman.
Morask, currently a Township Trustee, says Townships are the government closest to the people and at Maine Township we offer an exceptional level of resident services while keeping your tax rate for such services lower than 2% of your property tax bill. We know that every hard earned penny counts and have been one of the only local governments to consistently balance our budget, keep the property tax levy flat, all while operating with zero debt.
She adds, “Keeping the tax levy flat means that Maine Township did not ask you, the taxpayer, for more money! That is good government.”
