Kimberly Jones has served on the Maine Township Board since July of 2014. She is a longtime resident of Park Ridge and a former 3rd Ward Alderman for the City of Park Ridge (2005-2007). She also served on the city’s Flood Control Task Force from 2009-2013.
As a child in Park Ridge she attended Franklin and Emerson schools before graduating from Maine East High School. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Loyola University.
The focus of Kimberly’s adult life has been public service. For the past 28 years Kim has been working as a public servant for the State of Illinois. Her current position is as an Administrator for the Division of Banking where she is responsible for all licensing, investigations, and regulatory issues as they relate to the Pawnbroker industry, which takes her to every corner of the State of Illinois.
While serving on the Park Ridge City Counsel she was Chairman of the Public Works Committee, and also served as a member of the Mayor’s Advisory Committee, the Public Safety Committee and as the Liaison to the Park Ridge Youth Commission.
